The Aggies would even the doubles contest with a win at court one, moving all eyes to court two, where the veteran duo of Andy Andrade and Mattias Siimar were facing Texas A&M’s Austin Abbrat and Stefan Storch.

With a 3-1 lead, it would be Andrade, who is ranked No. 89 by the ITA, to seal the deal. The senior collected a straight-set victory over Perego, 6-4, 6-2, for his fifth match clinch of the season. In doing so, the Gators remain a perfect 12-0 in the SEC for the third time since 2019. Andrade now has 132 singles wins in his career and is 17-4 in dual matches. Andrade’s two wins today also pushed his career overall wins total to 198, which ranks fourth in school history.

No. 86 Vale tacked on another point to give the Gators a 5-1 lead after defeating Guido Marson in a tough match, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. Vale now has nine conference wins and is 12-4 at short three. The senior is also right behind Andrade as he now totals 197 career overall wins and is tied for fifth all-time with Jeff Morrison.
