From an Elite Eight center to an electrifying high-scoring guard, the 2021-22 women’s college basketball season included plenty of highlights.
Clemson’s Delicia Washingtonan elite scorer during her years at Baker County, made her last season at Clemson a big-time success with All-ACC honors and a chance to appear in a WNBA training camp with the Connecticut Sun.
At NC State, Camille Hobby held a valuable role in the Wolfpack’s rotation on the road to the Elite Eight.
Hobby and Washington were just two of the notable locals taking the court across college hoops during the 2021-2022 season.
Here’s a look at how the season unfolded for NCAA Division I women’s basketball players from Jacksonville-area high schools.
